Greater Houston sits on expansive clay. It swells when wet and shrinks when dry, and that constant movement puts year-round stress on slab foundations. Cracks in brick, sticking doors, sloping floors and separated trim are all symptoms worth investigating.

For our Premium package we take foundation elevation readings — actual measurements across the slab rather than a guess — so you know whether the movement is cosmetic or structural.

Roof and flashing

Storm season is hard on Houston roofs. We assess the covering, flashing, penetrations, drainage and overall condition, and document remaining service life so you can plan — or negotiate.

Attic, ventilation and insulation

The attic tells you the truth about the roof. We look for active leaks and staining, inadequate ventilation, insufficient or displaced insulation, and improper exhaust venting — all of which drive up energy bills and create the conditions for mold in our humidity.
